Indian Queens Band are celebrating 170 years of playing!
Indian Queens band is a charity, bringing music to the local community for 170 years continuously! It is reported to be the longest continuously running band in Cornwall so we feel this is very worthy of a celebration!
Join with us on Sunday 17th May for a Grand Parade through the village to Indian Queens Pit for musical performances from both the Indian Queens Training and Senior Bands, Pride of Britain Finalist 'Rhys the Night Church Pianist' and a Cornish Wrestling Demonstration, all with a Massed Bands Finale including many of Cornwall's finest bands coming together to celebrate 170 years of Indian Queens Band at the heart of the Cornish brass banding community 🥳
We would like to invite any past players to join us for this commemorative occasion!
Parade beginning at 11am and music throughout the afternoon.
