Newquay "Bucks The Trend"

Newquay's Business Improvement District Manager says the town "bucked the trend" for footfall this summer.

Speaking to Radio Newquay, Mark Warren shared that August saw "really strong" visitor numbers, with figures showing this summer was comparable to last year, but he pointed out that people did not spend as much.

The BID Manager says September has been busy and credited local events like last weekend's markets, Harbour Festival, and Summer Finale for helping boost the town.
